When mining solo as mention earlier, it takes a bit of luck to 'find' block, but when you do solve block, all of the coins related to that block are yours to keep. While this is enticing for the beginner, you are better off mining in a pool.
Once you are ready to mine BitConnect Coin then it is recommended to join a mining pool. A mining pool are a large group of users who ‘pool’ their recourses together to solve the mathematical solution (finding a block) and the rewards are distributed proportional to work sent to the pool.
To mine in a pool you first need to join following mining pool:
All you have to do to earn with this method is to hold coins in your Bitconnect-QT wallet. Your earnings are based upon the number of coins, or “stake,” you hold in wallet software. The more you invest, the more you are likely to earn.
Ensure your wallet is encrypted with a good password. A secure password is needed to ensure your coins are safe. The wallet encryption option can be found under the settings tab in the Bitconnect-Qt wallet program. Keep a copy stored somewhere safe or do not forget it, if you do your coins are lost forever.
You will need to unlock your wallet to start minting. Go to the help tab -> debug window -> console and type the following command:
Walletpassphraseyourpassword 9999999 true
You can set this to how long you like (in seconds), but it is best to do it for as long as possible.
You can check the minting status of the wallet by viewing the small padlock at the bottom right corner of the client window. After a few minutes, it will show as unlocked. Hover your courser over the padlock to check the minting status, as it will tell you the wallet is unlocked for minting only.
